Random history outtake (from yesterday):
The origin of the Filipino word pera ("money") came from the Spanish word perra, which means "bitch". Isabella II of Spain was queen of Spain in the early half of the 19th century, and thus her face was minted on the coins. She was renowned for being a spoiled brat and a bitch (who wouldn't after being crowned queen at the ripe old age of 3?), so whenever people exchanged money, they went "You owe me X perras." "Okay, here are your X perras." xD
I love history.
