of suicidal kittens

So...since today is my late grandmother's birthday, we went to the cemetery to pay our respects. And just as we were about to leave, two little kittens were right in the middle of the path, mewling pathetically. We cooed at them, of course, the kitties being cute. But then, my sister had to jokingly say, "Can we bring them home?" just as we were about to enter the car, and I think the kittens can speak Human so they followed us and HID UNDER THE CAR. And my uncle was like, "come on, come on -- let's go!" while my sister and my aunt and I were all, "NO THERE ARE KITTIES UNDER THE CAR!!!"

It took my uncle and I almost ten minutes to coax, cajole, and threaten the kittens to get out. They simply refused to leave and when we finally left them far, far away from the car as humanly (catly?) possible, we practically ran back so the kitties won't be intimately acquainted with our tires and the pavement at the same time.

Of course, all throughout the debacle, my brother was just looking at us with a WTF look on his face. :D

My sister, when she was much much younger, asked the same question. My mother let her keep the kitten because wth, it's just one cat and my sister would not let go. And then it grew big and had its own kitties. And they had their own kitties. Bottom line is, our house has not been cat free since then. XD

Oh little brothers. Mine is too big and gives me the WTF face all the time, but at least he still lets me hug him. :DDDD

Heh, if pets were allowed in our condo, and if I weren't allergic to them, I think I'd get a cat. They're not smelly and clean up after themselves -- my ideal kind of pet, in other words. xD

but at least he still lets me hug him
Aww, your brother is sweet. I hope mine would still let me hug him even during the awkward stages of his teenage-hood. :D
