¡que barbaridad! ¡que horror!

I decided to visit my old blogs at Tabulas and Pitas this morning. Just to see how much I've evolved as a 'writer' (ha!). To my horror, I've just realized that

all my entries.

looked like.

THIS.

with fangirl japanese.

interspersed here and there.

like this, ne?

I'm veeeery tempted to delete all my entries on those sites. The only thing that stands in my way is the fact that I've forgotten my passwords. *headdesk* Oh well. On the plus side, I've reminded myself that I played Konde Adolfo for my class's production of Florante at Laura back in my 2nd year of high school. Cold comfort, I know, but still.

I still occasionally look at the fanfic I wrote back in high school. This is why I try not to be judgmental to the newbie ficcers; because my first tries were AT LEAST that bad if not worst.

Yeah, people really do need to read their first attempts at writing before labeling someone as a 'mediocre'. Sometimes you just have to leave room for a budding author to grow; practice makes perfect after all. :D

(Oh, don't get me started on the fics that I wrote. I can't believe people actually liked what I posted. I know I wouldn't touch my fics with a hundred-meter pole if I were to encounter them now.)

ohdeargodyes. My stuff was lividly purple with waaaaaaaaaaaaangst and a plethora of Sues/Stus. I'm not talking just self-inserts or OCs which may or may not be Sue-ish. I'm talking textbook Sue.

That...sounds suspiciously like my own fic.

You know, I have a theory that all first fanfics are actually the same fic dredged up from some collective fangirl unconscious. Because that's the only explanation I have for the plethora of eerily similar 'this is my first fanfic! please REVIEW!!!11eleventyone!1' fics, regardless of fandom or genre.
