1. I have otitis media in my left ear, which basically means that it feels stuffed and the sounds I hear have weird acoustics. The doctor told me earlier that it's in its latter stages which he felt was odd since I should probably be whimpering in pain right now. I told him it's because I have a high tolerance for pain, though I didn't get to tell him the story about how a doctor pulled the fracture implants out of my arm without anaesthesizing me. (I always love telling that story for some strange reason.) I'm told that I should avoid travelling by plane or going up a mountain or basically doing something that would change the pressure in my ears or else my eardrum might rupture. Joy. Anyway, I'm on antibiotics and decongestants right now. I just hope I don't go deaf when all this is over and done with.
2. The doctor's clinic looked so nice, I want to live there and be the one to operate his endoscope. Who knew being an ENT doctor would bring in that much money?
3. I'm already getting tired, just thinking of the things coming up this semester. Comparative anatomy lecture and lab, cellular and molecular biology, PRAXIS, and thesis-writing in 18 weeks -- oh joy and rapture!
