My entire family decided to go to our condo's podium deck for the New Year's countdown. I don't mean to be a Miss Fussybritches about the whole thing, it's just...damn, the fireworks have been going off since around 8PM and I'm afraid that if I go down, 1) I'll go deaf; and 2) my lungs would try to claw its way out of my mouth.

Besides, the view from my room is fantastic, I don't need to go downstairs to see the fireworks.
