Holy farking HECK, I finally found Tin Mandigma on lj! And another cause for celebration -- she is Filipino! I've always thought she was, ever since I first encountered her stories five years ago (geez, I've been reading fanfics for five years now...), but it feels nice to have your suspicions confirmed.
Go read her RK fics. They harken from the days when Kenshin still ended his sentences with "de gozaru yo" in fanfics. I've gotten used to it, but I was really annoyed at first with the "that it is" "that I am" "that it is not" that peppers his speech in the fanfic world these days.

CHECK THIS OUT. It's basically calling for people who wrote fanfics based on Rizal's Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. And they're going to publish it. Gyaah!

Was browsing through the Internet when I found this thesis paper on fanfiction. Although Ms. H would probably have an aneurysm after reading through this paper. It doesn't come across as a thesis paper. It's more like a very long essay.
