am I the only person who boggles at anne hathaway's skin tone?

Have just finished watching Becoming Jane. 'Twas nice overall (TumnusJames McAvoy! HEE!), though my biggest problem with the film is my biggest problem with a lot of films in general: THE PACING. God, how I hate it when the moment I start to love a film, pacing problems arise! It dragged in some places (please to be not giving us gratuitous amounts of mopey-wangsty scenes! D:) and was too fast in others.

Anne Hathaway's accent bothered me throughout the film, though, and I have no idea why. Gah. o.O
