A lil' Saitoh/Tokio drabble...

::sigh:: Just what is it about snarky, sarcastic bastards that draws me to them? Is it because I'm a semi-snarky, sarcastic bitch?

Ah, well. After reading numerous fanfics about Saitoh and Tokio, I decided to create one on the spot. Nope, no edits here, folks, everything that you will read from now on are straight from the keyboard and erasures will be kept to an absolute minimum.

Dark eyes glint in the moonlight.

Saitoh Hajime can feel the gaze of somebody from the shadows...and can almost guess who it is.

Tokio.

Hajime first saw her earlier that day, when he was invited to the house of a politician he was supposed to guard for the next few days, the politician who also happens to be her father.

Her father was not bad, as some politicians go. At least he cared enough for his country, unlike some who only look after themselves and their assets.

But then again, Hajime isn't thinking about her father. No, the object of his thoughts is currently staring at him. Weighing him.

Despite the slightly uneasy feeling it gives him, Hajime, oddly enough, doesn't mind the intrusion.

What he doesn't know is why. Why doesn't he mind that the woman who so intrigued him is staring at him, measuring him, and yet shrugs it off as if it was nothing, as if he tolerated that kind of treatment all the time?

Who was this curious enigma?

Hajime intends to find out. Soon.

Sooo...I don't think it's that bad, considering that it's my first time writing a Saitoh/Tokio. It's definitely better than the my first Kenshin/Kaoru or Aoshi/Misao...But that was three years ago. I'm wiser and older now. I have reached the stage of sagacity in the fanfiction world!!!

Yeah, right.

Oh well...gotta go.
