so says the daughter of a trekkie
The recently-released hi-res screenshots of the new Star Trek movie are amazing. The amount of eye-candy in just one shot dazzled me. To quote my mom, "Huh? They all look good!"
(The cap they have of Spock doing the Vulcan nerve-pinch looks eerily like a scene from Heroes, only this time around, Sylar has weird eyebrows, pointy ears, and a dorky haircut.)
Is Kirk so speshul that he has to wear a black sweater instead of the regulation-standard gold? Also: Eomer, Anamaria, Harold, and Sylar in one film? I AM SO GOING TO WATCH IT.
ETA: I just had a mental image of Karl-Urban-as-Eomer traipsing around Rohan before his coronation, going, "I'm a Marshall, not a ________!" I swear, I'm going to cheer in the theater every single time he'd say that line. I love Bones McCoy in all his curmudgeon-ness. Having Karl Urban portray him only raised his coolness factor by about 23456789098765434567890% 8D
