i can't think of a good subject line, sorry

1. When I went inside my brother's room, he and our cousin were watching a documentary on Discovery Channel. I asked them what they were watching, and my brother replied, "We're learning about the workings of the cosmos! Did you know that dark matter holds the universe together with gravity?"

Sometimes, hearing him talk, I could almost forget that he's just 7 years old. Hanging around adults so much gave him weird speech patterns, I think.

2. Our required internship at an industrial setting just reinforced my belief that I'm not meant for a desk job. I don't mind the thinky part of it (which is what we do for our MBA subjects anyway), it's the whole claustrophobic setting of the office in close quarters with everyone doing their own shit that makes me want to wreak havoc just to break the monotony.

3. I can't wait for classes to start. (And I can't believe that I just wrote that.) They say that the second year of med school is the zombie year (or possibly the robot/android year, it depends on the type of geek you're talking to I guess). Well I say, BRING IT ON. I've been looking forward to tackling the more clinical stuff since my the first biochem lecture I sat through last year.
