regarding gmail and whatnot

I know the source of my problem with gmail now: It's the browser I'm using, it won't accept cookies from google. I'm trying to fix that, but so far, nothing good's happened yet...

Try setting your privacy setting to "medium" in your Internet Options dialog box. That usually works for me. :)
