Spent the entire afternoon in the library, trying to decipher the articles in The Journal of Expereimental Botany. I swear they weren't written in English - I think it was in botanist-speak or something.
In any case, right after I finised writing up my summary (aka paraphrasing the abstract of the paper) and insights on the topic I chose, and depositing the class's papers on Teh Ebil's desk, I immediately gobbled up a footlong hotdog sandwich and a bowl of ginataang oatmeal and sago, because thinking too hard makes me hungry, blegh.

I hope we get the results of our Math midterms tomorrow, just to get it over with. But knowing our professor...*sigh*

But I eventually found an article that made sense to me.
Excerpt:
DNA sequences were determined by the dideoxynucleotide method with dye terminators on an Applied Biosystems 373 DNA sequencer. The complete sequences of full-length clones were determined on both strands by generation of deletions with restriction enzymes or by use of synthetic oligonucleotides.
In case you're wondering what the article was about, the title is: Isolation of three distinct CycD3 genes expressed during fruit development in tomato. XD
