WHY?

Why is it that I can write a 2,000-word fanfic in two to three hours when I couldn't finish an application essay in the same span of time?

I have to finish these essays, I just have to. I've been working on them for the past two weeks or so, and I still couldn't finish them. The words just wouldn't flow; it feels as if there's a dam blocking the way between my thoughts and ideas, and the means to write them down.

I should've sent the application form by now, damn it. Think, brain, think!
