27 December 2005 09:23 amFinally did my post-Christmas shopping last night, at Tiendestias! 'Twas fun, especially while I was fiddling with Cori's gift...*evil laugh* Won't tell you what it is, though...
Anyway, the downside of last night's excursion is that I was exposed to a lot of chain-smoking people. Hence my current asthma.
I hate my weak lungs. But I hate tobacco companies even more. I'll die of lung cancer due to second-hand smoke at this rate.

24 December 2005 12:11 am- According to the computer's clock, it's 0011 hours. That makes Christmas 23 hours and 49 minutes away.
- People are living a double life on the net. They have a "public" blog, usually posted on pitas or blogspot, and a "private", friends-only blog, hosted on livejournal. I only discovered that this past week. Heh.
- The British Prime Minister mentioned in HBP is, in my opinion, Tony Blair. Though some British people say that it's actually the prime minister before him. Whatever. I still maintain that it's Tony Blair. So there.
- It's the first time I went out of the house since Monday night. And so far, it feels really December-y. I actually had to wear a jacket this year, instead of my usual thick shirt. Now I feel really cozy with my current outfit, as I'm currently outdoors. December breezes make my day.

Why is it that I can write a 2,000-word fanfic in two to three hours when I couldn't finish an application essay in the same span of time?
I have to finish these essays, I just have to. I've been working on them for the past two weeks or so, and I still couldn't finish them. The words just wouldn't flow; it feels as if there's a dam blocking the way between my thoughts and ideas, and the means to write them down.

Well, guess what? I lied.
I wrote around two paragraphs for my sulating pormal when I got bored and doodled. I then proceeded to watch Lifestyle Network, longing to watch movies that will be released this December in the U.S. but will reach the Philippines on January. (Damn.)
After lunch, at around 1.00PM, I slept. And woke up at 4.00PM. That's three hours wasted.
Now I'm writing this instead of continuing my outlining for Filipino. I'm such an avoidant...

Note to self: Must watch Brokeback Mountain. The opportunity to watch a gay cowboy movie is just too good to miss. (But then again, the evil MTRCB just might decide not to show it here because of homosexual themes. If they do that I will track them down and threaten them with promises of a dire demise. Really.)
