Okay, confession time: I haven't watched anything from SPN S7 beyond 7x02 yet, because I am in COMPLETE DENIAL THAT CAS MAY NEVER COME BACK. However, I still read the spoiler posts over at [livejournal.com profile] ontd_spnparty, mostly because I want to know the exact moment Misha Collins will make an appearance. (It has been said that hope springs eternal.) And the production stills from 7x12 JUST ABOUT KILLED WHAT BRAIN CELLS I HAVE LEFT.

OR: Which concerns several TV shows.

1. On Supernatural 7x01 )

2. Allison Harvard is back on ANTM: All Stars! I hope she wins this time, I really, really love her <3

3. QI started Series I two weeks ago, and I didn't even notice. I'm really looking forward to the Brian Blessed episode. :D

4. I watch far too many shows for my own peace of mind. I still have to finish Monster and Gintama in addition to all of my shows' new seasons T__T (Sleep? What sleep? SLEEP DOES NOT EXIST IN MY WORLD.)

Okay, so I was trawling youtube for videos of The Civil Wars' live performances (which you should check out because they're AWESOME), when I had a brainfart: Poison and Wine is Dean and Cas's breakup song OH GOD.

(Joy) Your hands can heal, your hands can bruise
(John) I don't have a choice, but I'd still choose you
(Both) I don't love you, but I always will

Joy sings Dean's parts and John sings Cas's and this is perfect for them WHY ARE THERE NO FANVIDS YET? I want my weekly dose of WAAAAANGST damn it. ;__;

Sooo. I wasted the past couple of hours by watching Bedrooms and Hallways. I love this film. I love love LOVE it. I discovered the film when I was looking at Kevin McKidd's filmography after seeing him in Grey's Anatomy. Which was a trippy experience in itself, as I was used to seeing him prancing about in Rome wearing nothing but plate armor and tunics and kilts and togas. The scrubs look downright strange on him. Anyway, I decided to get my hands on this movie because maybe!bisexual!Marc Antony is involved with maybe!bisexual!Lucius Vorenus, and gay!Agent Smith gets it on with gay!Lord Beckett. You can never underestimate the entertainment value of that kind of screwiness. Plus, they all look adorable! It's almost unimaginable (for me, anyway) that they were all as young as they were when they shot this film.

The film starred Kevin McKidd. And James Purefoy. It's my life's mission (well, not really) to watch every single film and TV series they've been in because both look really adorable and are scene-stealers to the extreme. Watching films and TV shows that have both of them as cast members makes me squee with glee. Because gaaaaah Kevin McKidd! James Purefoy! Seriously, it's all I can do not to fangirl squee right now :D

Best line ever: Leo, you are a strawberry blond. You can't go out with an ash blonde. It's not right!

What started out as checking out Daniel Henney's Wikipedia page led to several hours' worth of 'oooh'-ing and 'aaaaah'-ing over random articles until I ended up reading about island gigantism and dwarfism, of all things. I have no idea how drooling over Daniel Henney degenerated to reading about pygmies and the dodo bird. It's one of life's mysteries, I suppose.

In other news, I'm doomed for tomorrow's test. Because I wasted several hours by drooling over Daniel Henney and reading about pygmies and the dodo bird. I really, really shouldn't be allowed access to the Internet. >.

meep.

I read Ella Enchanted earlier. 'Twas nice; it has a different kind of charm from the film based on it -- actually, the film doesn't resemble the novel at all. I still can't decide which one I like better, because they're both cute in their own quirky ways. Heh. :D

I've watched up to episode 5 of the taiga drama Shinsengumi!, and heh, I love their casting choices. Katori Shingo as Kondou Isami was a wise move, but I must say I'm really happy that Odagiri Joe played Saitou Hajime!

The thought of a yakuza!Saitou tickles me, considering the fact he ends up a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. I don't know how historically accurate that is (all that's known about his life before the Bakumatsu is that he's from a family of gokenin, low-class samurai), but seeing him hustling people for money made me laugh like a loon.

Also, the way Odagiri-san portrayed him in episode 5 gave me an insight to his motives for marrying then leaving behind Shinoda Yaso for Takagi Tokio...which gave rise to a plot bunny. It'll probably never leave my harddrive as I usually hate the things I end up writing, but but but! Oh, the thoughts racing through my head right now! I'm feeling really giddy, hee!

It's 3.00AM already and I haven't slept yet. It's all David Tennant's fault. I got hooked on watching the Casanova BBC miniseries, because by some bizarre twist of fate (I was looking for Blackadder sketches), I managed to find the entire series online.

Now, I've always liked David Tennant as an actor (the Tenth Doctor is so geeky, he turns me to fangirl mush), but I think I fell in love with him as Casanova. His version is much better than Heath Ledger's, methinks.

Also, everything I think of is "said" with a British accent in my head now. It's from watching too much Blackadder, I think.

Am currently staying at my Tita Melissa's place. Have surveyed her DVD collection last night, and I just spent the last eight hours or so watching the Pride and Prejudice BBC series with my tita, thus reducing my mind to process thoughts that run like this: "Ooh period costumes shiny OH MY GOD COLIN FIRTH IN A TOP HAT EEK *fangirlsqueal* I love their accents, I really -- JUST KISS HER ALREADY YOU DOLT!!!"

Of course, Tito Søren shook his head at us and bashed Colin Firth when he got home, which earned him two female cries of indignation and a suggestion that he watch it with us in order to learn. Hee.

I hope I dream about Colin Firth tonight. xD

Have been going back and forth between the bathroom and the computer, because of Bleach and, um, stomach problems.

GYAAH. I am in pain, and I don't like it one bit!

Remy LeBeau, why aren't you in X3? ;_; I thought I accepted the fact that you're not going to be in the movie when I couldn't find any casting credits for you, but actually watching the film made me feel horrible that you missed out on all the fun.

And where did Kurt Wagner disappear to, anyway??

I think they're written by the same person...both of them are cracked up. The stoned kind of cracked up. Seriously.

I WANT TO WATCH THE 1989 FILM VERSION OF THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

Synopsis (from http://www.imdb.com):

A newer and gorier version of the horror film classic of Gaston Leroux's classic tale. Christine Day is a young Broadway singer in New York City. She is auditioning for a show and comes across a piece of music written by an unknown music composer named Erik Destler nearly 100 years before. Erik had made a pact with the devil so the world would love his music, but the devil had one condition: that Erik's face would be horribly disfigured forever. Once Christine sings his music, she is taken from present day New York to 1881 London were she is the star of the London Opera House. There she is coached by a mysterious caped figure who will do anything to make her the star of the opera even if it means murdering people, and the figure is none other than Erik Destler himself.

See? Who wouldn't want to watch that movie with a summary like that?! I want a DVD of this movie right now! (Else I'll keel over...)

Oh yeah. And Robert Englund, the dude who played Freddy Krueger in all the incarnations of Nightmare on Elm Street, played The Phantom (a.k.a. Erik) in this movie. :D
