OMG

I JUST CAME HOME FROM WATCHING HP5. I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR THE TICKET TOO. AND THERE WAS FREE FOOD. GOD BLESS MY MOTHER'S OFFICE. AHAHAHA.

Opening scene: AHAHA WANNABEPIMP!DUDLEY MADE ME GIGGLE. AND SNORT. BUT MOSTLY GIGGLE. Mrs. Figg's rain suit also tickled me funny. But the Dementors...did they shuck their cloaks right before entering the tunnel-thingy? Because I kinda missed their Nazgul-like presence. xD

The "Rescue": WHY DOES TONKS HAVE UNTONKS-Y HAIR? SHE SHOULD HAVE HAD SHORT AND SPIKY HAIR. Tonks looks way too cute for words. And Remus's facial scars are a nice touch. Though I'm still disappointed at the lack of Mrs. Black. But the way they portrayed Kreacher was well-done.

The Trial: Dumbledore was way too OOC for me. Michael Gambon ruined the character, damn it. >_<

The Talk Before Boarding the Train: I think I've been reading way too much slashfic. The Harry and Sirius parting scene gave me slashy vibes. Ahahaha.

The Introduction of Luna: EVANNA LYNCH'S LUNA IS SPOT-ON. I LUFF HER TO BITS. I DO. I DO.

Umbridge: The actress was really good! (I couldn't be bothered to look up her name right now, ahaha.) She made me hate Umbridge more than I already do. The detention scene with Harry creeped me out. And the Weasley twins comforting that little firstie who just finished detention with Umbridge near the end of the film made me go 'awww' first, and suppress a vocal exclamation of rage against Umbridge second.

Harry: During the tantrum scenes, I keep on reminding myself that CAPSLOCK!Harry in the book was much, much worse than seeing Dan going teenager-y on screen. At least the way he acted was plausible. Although I was wondering how he could have learned how to cast nonverbal spells Also, my mom noticed that Dan's chest is much larger than Emma's. AHAHAHA. I love my mom. She always notices things like that. xD

Snape: AH I LOVED HIM HERE. The part where Umbridge inspects his class -- he looked like Lurch from the Addams Family! Actually, now that I think about it, he was quite Lurch-y whenever he entered scenes. The return of the book-thwapping was well-received, and much loved. AND OMG THE LEGILIMENCY SCENES! He's so deliciously sinister all throughout the movie -- even after the part where Harry sees his memories. You know he's vulnerable, and angry, and humiliated, but then there's this aura of menace that never quite leaves him. (Not to mention that young!Snape was quite easy on the eyes too. Hee. xD)

Lucius: Eeee, so deliciously evil! I actually like his part here more than his part in the books. And his hair that manages to remain immaculate after his exertions made me giggle. And fawn over it. And make me jealous, because my hair tangles easily.

Bellatrix: First, I would like to say: OMG HELENA BONHAM-CARTER EEEEEEE!!! Second: Bella is just the right amount of evil and unhinged in the film. I also love her 80's-ish frump of hair, and her greying temples. And her derangedness. Oh yes. I loves me my unhinged characters, I does. xD

Ginny: I love the fact that in the film, Ginny's prodigious powers were gradually introduced, not like the bombshell we all had to deal with in HBP. I dunno. I loved Ginny in OotP (both the film and the book), but reading her in HBP left me cold. Maybe because she was suddenly all there, or maybe it's because of the "Harry-filter" -- the books are, after all, written from his POV.

I'll probably add more squeeage when I remember more things to squee about. I think I'm going to watch HP5 again on Friday. (Ahaha. Na-adik na ako. Pottermania to the max na 'to! xD)

Yep, Luna and Umbridge were good. And the Snape scenes! XD XD

Could've done better with the fight scenes, though. I was expecting a full-scale battle at the Ministry. But oh well. Haha.

Yeah, all we got were black wisps and white wisps. D: But I didn't really mind, because of the pretty Lucius. xD

Evanna Lynch is lurv. She's so pretty and weird and prim and proper all at the same time.

argh...

I DEMAND MORE SIRIUS BLACK SCREENTIME.

and yes, Helena Bonham fit her role PERFECTLY!

I DEMAND MORE SIRIUS BLACK SCREENTIME.

I'd demand for the same thing too, only I don't like Gary Oldman as Sirius Black, so my only reaction to the veil scene is, "Meh. Good bye, you poor sod."

Maybe if they cast a better actor, I'd want more Sirius Black screentime. xD
