FANDOM: Phantom of the Opera
Title: Das Phantom von Deutchland

Summary: POTO set in Nazi-occupied France. Christine is a resistance worker and Erik is a Nazi infiltrator determined to break the group.
Status: Work-in-Progress
Comments: Very, very believable story. Erik as a Nazi is believable, and the explanation for his face -- and of course he would have a facial defect, seeing as he wouldn't be himself without the emotional wounds he got as a result of his face -- is very believable. The author is a history major, so historical facts are very accurate. (The author also gets plus points for not bashing Raoul. XD)

FANDOM: Rurouni Kenshin
Title: An Unexpected Lesson
Author: Conspirator
Rating: K+ or PG
Summary: Three years after the end of the Bakumatsu, a chance encounter with a kabuki troupe teaches Kenshin an unexpected lesson in survival.
Status: Complete
Comments: I so love this fic! This is my favorite RK fics set in Kenshin's wandering years. The premise may make this fic sound a bit shallow, but really, it's not! And the OCs are very 3-dimensional. The epilogue also rocks my socks! Woot. XD

FANDOM: Rurouni Kenshin
Title: Light of the Snow Red Village

Summary: A twist of a situation causes Tomoe's death to be delayed, long enough for Kenshin's wandering to hold a new burden and support beyond any expectations...

Comments: This is one of the most amazing fanfics I've ever read in this fandom. Characterization is spot-on, although slogging through 30+ chapters more than 5000 words each would make for slow reading. XD

FANDOM: Star Trek: The Next Generation and Rurouni Kenshin (crossover)
Title: A Glint of Amber Stars
Author: Rem-chan
Rating: T or PG-13
Summary: In the distant future, a wandering soul questions who and what he is, plagued by unwanted changes and dark, forgotten dreams...

Comments: The crossover that I've been waiting for. XD You don't have to be a fan of Star Trek to appreciate this (that is, if you only know Rurouni Kenshin. Vice-versa if you're only familiar with Star Trek). Completely believable characters, and you'll never guess how Saitou behaves. *smirk*

FANDOM: Pirates of the Caribbean
Title: The Weight of Water

Rating: M or R
Summary: Regret is heavy. Bill Turner, with nothing left to lose. Or so he thinks, but he's been out of touch for a while. Bottom of the ocean and all.
Status: Work-in-Progress
Comments: One of the best PotC fics I've ever read, in my opinion. The author's portrayal of Bill Turner is both believable and plausible. And her interpretation of Bill's relationship with Jack Sparrow gives the author plus points from me. :D

FANDOM: Good Omens
Title: Bad Grace

Summary: Good Omens" sequel - A stolen book of prophecies... a plot to bring about the Second Coming of Christ... an Antichrist who babysits for the neighbours... a demon and angel facing complicated emotional entanglement... and much more.

Comments: A fic written with the voice(s) of Teh Lords of Apocalyptic Humor, complete with footnotes. XD

BTW, I watched Ice Age 2 last night. Mammoths who think they are possums are LOVE! ♥♥♥

Also, my keyboard-typing skills have suffered a bit. :( My record was 76 words per minute with an accuracy of 95% (that was around August or September last year), now it's down to a mere 65 words with an accuracy of 93%.

Where did I go wrong?

Yes, there's a new opening theme, but I just watched it on youtube. And as far as I know, Bleach is already up to episode 76 or 77...

(BTW, you should watch it, like, RIGHT NOW. Byakuya is, like, really HAWT. He's reduced me, to, like, valley-girl speak, coz of, you know, like, his HOTNESS. XD)
