I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!!
The vascular bundle of a monocot stem LOOKS LIKE THE ALIENS FROM INDEPENDENCE DAY while the vascular bundle of a dicot stem LOOKS LIKE THE FOOTPRINTS OF GODZILLA.
The vascular bundle of a dicot plant has TWO extra components - VASCULAR CAMBIA (sing., cambium) and TRACHEIDS. The vascular cambium is the reason why dicots have FIRMER STEMS. A tracheid is an elongated cell inside the xylem that TRANSPORTS WATER.
There are five kinds of secondary walls that may be inside a tracheid. There's the annular, helical, scalariform, reticulate and pitted.
