Why is it that whenever I read books/fanfics set in Regency England, and the Prince Regent is mentioned, I keep on expecting the narration to go on and say, "Beside the Prince stood Sir Percy Blakeney, Bart., 'la-ing' and 'wot-ing' and generally making an arse of himself and those around him"?

Damn it, there isn't enough Pimpernel fic to go around. Blegh.
