argh

I woke up early to work on stuff because the Law of Diminishing Marginal Returns reared its ugly head last night and I realized I wasn't going anywhere with what I was writing. (I actually wrote "cupcakes are integral to women's health" around 3 times in a 500-word paper. WTF, self?)

Instead of answering discussion questions or reading ahead or studying past lectures, I read approximately 20,000 words of SPN fanfic in an hour.

Clearly I have no self-control.

ETA: Scutmonkey is now probably one of my favorite webcomics.

Also, I wish med school students on their clerkship year here are allowed to wear scrubs to work instead of our school uniforms + a white coat. Because that's a shit load of white cloth for patients to stain with bodily fluid. Just saying.
