too tired to think of a proper subject

1. I'm currently editing feature articles for the orientation kit we'll be giving to the next batch of freshmeatmen. If I see the phrase "with regards to" one more time I'm going stab someone's eye out with a fork. (And chances are it'd be mine, just so I could stop. Seeing. That. Phrase. EVERYWHERE. Argh.)

2. I still haven't finished House of Leaves because I get too involved with the story and the house freaks me out so much that I can't move on. I've never flinched from reading horror before, so I don't know what my hang-up is with this particular novel.

3. I've had a low-grade fever that comes and goes the past few days. I don't know if it's because of the weather or if it's psychosomatic or something else entirely. Whatever the reason, it's pissing me off. I can't concentrate on things properly, damn it. D:

4. Re-watched The Social Network the other day. My favorite part was the beginning, where we got to see LJ's old-school interface :D The rest of the movie is just one big "meh" though. Still can't see why people believe that it was worthy of a Best Picture nomination.
