That's it. It's final. I'm BORED.

But there's a shining late on the horizon of this dark world. I'm with my friends and WE FOUND OUR LOST BOOKS!!! Woo-hoo! I could now read the Earth's Childrentm Series again...too bad I still haven't found a second-hand copy of Shelters of Stone yet. Ah well.

I'm inspired. I wanna write.

Fujita Tsutomu squirmed uneasily as his father's figure walked down the street, heading towards the house. He really didn't want to face his father right now, especially since he could still see the remnants of his and his brothers' latest escapade.

He knew he couldn't hide them quickly enough. And there really was no point in hiding them when Tsutomu was sure that Father could read minds. It was a really frustrating fact, especially since he and his brothers seem to always get into trouble, something that amused Mother and irked Father to no end.

Well, there was no turning back now. The best he could do now was to take a deep breath, square his shoulders and act like the son Fujita Gorou raised him to be as said man approached Tsutomu.

"Okaeri nasai," Tsutomu said not without difficulty as Father entered the threshold which was his domain.

"Tadaima, Tsutomu-kun," Father responded as he took off his police-issued cap. He suddenly narrowed his bright amber eyes at his son. "What happened now?" the Fujita patriarch asked.

"Ah...er..." Tsutomu muttered, looking down at his feet, "er...we tried to...well..."

Father made an impatient noise. "'Well' what?" he asked irritatedly.

"We tried to clean a rabbit!" Tsutomu blurted out as he flushed embarassedly. "But then, instead of cleaning, the yard just got more messy! And mother isn't home yet! I'm sorry, Father, but Tsuyoshi and Tatsuo both got queasey with the sight, so I'm left home alone!"

Father sighed in annoyance. "Why didn't you tell me immediately? Idiot. Yare-yare, I guess I have to help you clean the yard now..."

Tsutomu grinned - he couldn't help it! - as he followed Father back into the house. He'd expected Father to skewer him with his katana!

Oh well. I'm tired.

Val signing off.
