23 October 2007 05:40 pmYou know what I want to read? A LOTR fanfic with a boy, instead of a girl, falling into Middle-earth. Alas that I only found one, and not only did it mangle canon so badly, it did so in a way I've never seen before that I simply had to continue reading.
Imagine, if you will, a typical English schoolboy trying to speak French in Rohan (yes, I know) and being incarcerated for knowing "Elvish". But that's not all! Apparently, hobbits of the Shire speak English, and Westron is apparently another name for German. Hee.
It made my brain explode so bad, I wanted to read it again. Reading the fic was fun, especially the part where a nice Rohirric lass gets pushed on him so they'd be wed. *snerk*
