the scarlet pimpernel and doomsday week

I wonder where I could get a DVD of the 1934 version of The Scarlet Pimpernel? Because as delicious as the thought of Sir Ian McKellen playing Chauvelin in the 1980's version is to me, the liberties that film took plot-wise makes me vaguely squeamish. (Chauvelin wasn't involved with Marguerite, damn it!)
